Please uninstall and reinstall VMR using the following steps: I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing issues with VMR. Thank you for contacting Slate Digital Support. I had a similar issue today and wanted to share that I reached out to Slate and they got back to me VERY quickly with the following (which worked perfectly): My thoughts are if you don't own the component and it tries to open it, something trips and it crashes. Now if you own the whole bundle and are having crash issues I can't say if this works BUT you might want to clear the folder out and intro one component at a time to see which one causes the crash. It should open up and have just the console components you own. Once you have deleted them in the folder you can open logic up and then try the VMR on a track.

You can copy them into another folder and re intro them if you need. The way to do it is to go into your plugin folder for this app and remove any of the console components you don't own. Hey all I thought I'd post this to respond to my success with crashing issues when loading Slate VMR on the new Logic x using Mojave.
